Please be assured that confidentiality is more than just a legal and ethical obligation at Special Counsel Psychotherapy. It is the cornerstone of my practice in working with professionals who may be hesitant to seek therapy because of the impact this knowledge would have on their careers if divulged to employers, friends or even family. I am sensitive to the stigma that may come with seeking therapeutic support and endeavour to work with you in order to ensure our sessions are completely private and confidential. This is a good place to note that paying privately for therapy (rather than via Medicare, mental health plans, private health care or through Employment Assistance Providers) will ensure your therapy journey remains your business and yours alone.
